NET2017 Conference San Diego

By Dan Moat|2023-08-23T08:16:38-07:00January 27, 2017|Verve Energy Blog|

NET2017 – Where Cooperative Utilities & Energy Managers Meet

The NET2017 Conference is Touchstone Energy’s signature business-to-business conference that brings together national, regional, and local energy managers with co-op key account and energy services professionals from around the country. With more than sixteen years of programming, NET has become an incubator for showcasing innovation, providing a national perspective on important industry issues, and demonstrating how businesses and co-ops are embracing the future. Meet with over 400 energy professionals of all roles, including cooperative executives and managers, national business energy managers, and industry leaders in our premier exhibitor show and sponsorship program.

What to See and Do

National energy managers have several informative workshops open to learn and share best practice amongst their peers. Net2017, as with all previous Touchstone conferences, works hard to provide energy managers the perfect forum for collaboration, they even arrange closed sessions to encourage networking.  The main conference speaker is Professor Don Sadoway.  Professor Sadoway’s research seeks to establish the scientific underpinnings for technologies that make efficient use of energy and natural resources in an environmentally sound manner. His research into liquid battery technologies and the subsequent launch of Ambridge is the main topic and one that should not be missed.

Exhibiting Vendors

Net2017 provides a great atmosphere to catch up with a variety of technology providers. As an exhibition sponsor, Vervantis will be sharing with national energy managers the full range of services available that support large and medium-sized organizations with their energy and utility programs.  DataHub360™, a proprietary web-based platform, provides the technology that underpins many of the processes and informational resources that differentiate Vervantis and streamline energy and utility programs.

Also attending the Net2017 Touchstone conference will be our distributed generation experts, on hand to support the cooperative community with advice and information on getting the most out of customer initiatives to find more renewable sources of energy.

Vervantis provide complete outsourced utility management and customized on-demand solutions that resolve even the smallest challenges for energy professionals. We work with a broad range of customers delivering utility procurement, rate analysis, bill payment, efficiency, distributed generation, and a full suite of accredited sustainability software and reporting.
